Born and raised in the Dallas area, Dr. Sara Gondol received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2000. She obtained her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2004 and completed her pediatric internship and residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2007.
She returned to her home city to practice medicine after completing her training in 2007. She originally joined a practice in Plano in 2007 where she practiced for 3 years before opening her own solo practice in Frisco, Texas.
Dr. Gondol is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is on staff at Baylor Medical Center at Frisco and previously served at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and Medical Center of Plano. She has previously been named Frisco Readers’ Choice Award Winner for Pediatrician and Frisco Enterprise Favorite Pediatrician and is regularly named to Dallas Child Magazine’s Mom Approved Doctor List.
She is active in the community and enjoys volunteering at various charities and organizations that assist underserved children and adults. She also enjoys many outdoor hobbies and activities as well as traveling to new places when her schedule allows. She married her husband, Chris, in August of 2020 and enjoys being a step mom to his two sons, Connor and Dylan. Her favorite part of being a pediatrician is watching children grow from babies to young adults and getting to celebrate with families in many of the special milestones in their lives.
Dr. Alison Moy Hsu grew up in the Plano area and graduated from Plano Senior High School. She went to Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, and came back to Texas for medical school at UT Houston. She has always loved the Dallas area and was so happy that she was able to come back home to Dallas to complete her pediatric residency training at UT Southwestern/Children's Medical Center.
Dr. Hsu was pleased to join Dr. Gondol at Starside Pediatrics in 2014 after completing her pediatric residency. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is on staff at Baylor Medical Center at Frisco and was previously on staff at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and Medical Center of Plano. She has been named on several occasions to Dallas Child Magazine’s Mom Approved Doctor List.
In her free time, Dr. Hsu likes to try different kinds of foods, swim, dance, explore new technology, and work on her cooking skills. She enjoys spending time with her husband, William, and their two children, Eleanor and Nate. She loves expanding her knowledge and experience as both a mother and pediatrician. She has a special interest in helping moms navigate the newborn feeding schedule while watching her patients grow.
Dr. Diana Nguyen was born and raised in the Dallas area. For her undergraduate degrees, she remained close to home and obtained her degrees in Biology and Spanish from Southern Methodist University. She then went on to receive her master’s degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and continued there at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete her medical degree in 2018. For her internship and residency, she ventured over to New Orleans and had the privilege of completing her pediatrics training at Louisiana State University.
Since completing her residency, Dr. Nguyen is happy to be back in her hometown. After her brief time away, she is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends and joining Dr. Gondol and Dr. Hsu in providing excellent care to the patients at Starside Pediatrics. She especially enjoys building relationships with her patients and their families and is excited to have the opportunity to be a familiar face as her patients grow and develop. In her spare time, she also enjoys cooking, traveling and trying new restaurants.
